I have family videos recorded on all manner of devices dating back to 2005.
Most of these are in .mov format.
When I play some of these files the SMP blanks the screen on the HDMI output (blue screen on my TV) if I switch the TV to composite input then the video can be seen and heard no problem. Hitting stop, or allowing the video to finish results in the HDMI output still being blanked until the SMP is restarted.
Other .mov files play fine through HDMI.
Is there a way to tell how the content of the .mov file has been encoded and also a way to edit the file in such a way as to have the troublesome files play through the HDMI?
Many thanks
