Yes that’s correct. A slow blink (3 seconds on, 3 seconds off) tells you that the MyBook drive is in standby mode.
The MyBook will go into standby mode if the WDTV is also in standby mode. If you want the MyBook off, then you need to turn the WDTV off by holding the power button on the remote for up to 10 seconds.
