Yeah..... I need to gain some weight too..... oh? You mean the file format?
Yeah. EXFAT support is import for long file support (ie: more than 2GB) on flash media. They need to support it.
>> EXFAT support is import for long file support
Most people use NTFS for that...
Or HFS+ if your in the Cult of Apple....
I know most people use NTFS for long file support on flash media but EXFAT works better of flash media. It's faster for longer files at any rate.
The major downside is that it is proprietary to Microsoft, and would require licenses be purchased... NTFS, while proprietary, is not patented and Microsoft doesn't persue third parties that make it generally available at no charge. EXFAT, on the other hand, is patented and strongly defended intellectual property.
Yeah.... pretty much anything can be patented these days.... did you know McDonald's owns the color red?
Owning the color "red'? Now that's a bit extreme... I hope they don't sue me when I use something red on Valentine's ><
I think your OK unless you use the exact shade used in the McDonalds sign - Still, it's pretty absurd what you can claim ownership of these days.....
