HBO GO & Amazon Instant Video

Since this is just software it'll be nice for all the live products that can stream to be updated with HBO GO & Amazon Instant Video. More channels - more users.

Sorry, there is no plan from either service to support WD TV at the moment.

  Amazon instant video would be an excellent addition. I'm still debating axing my WDTV for a Roku2, specifically because it supports Amazon video, which has thousands of free videos if you are a Prime subscriber.  THank you.

What a disappointment. "Unplanned". Looks like I'll be dumping my Live Hub. Hard to believe you are not even considering Amazon Prime when there are so many requests for it. Or are you going to blame Amazon for not playing ball?

Who is holding it up? Amazon or WD? I'll happily contact Amazon and let them know that they need to add more product support if they wish to get people using their service.

Unplanned? Really?

I would expect an "In Consideration" or something. But "Unplanned" is simply not good.

I sure would love HBO Go on my WDTV. Come on! Even Roku has it!

I don't think the source of the problems is Amazon, HBO, or WD - it's the large media giants who are trying to maintain their monopoly by contractually forbidding content providers from selling direct-to-consumer, thereby eliminating the need for the cable companies they own.
