Once I restart my router it works like it should.
WD live plus is up to date on updates
What type of router do you have? Is the drive connected wired or wirelles?
What exactly is going on with the unit?

I am running it wired, I have a netgear WPN824 v3 router.
Once I turn off the live plus off I have to power cycle my router in order for my shared folders to show up on my live plus.
This is happening to me. I had to reinstall Win 7 recently, and now, whenever my pc comes out of SLEEP mode, I have to restart my Vizio router to make Network Shares work again. After that, it works fine, until the next time my pc goes to “Sleep.” This didn’t happen prior to my reinstall of Windows. My Live Plus is Wire connected to the router, as is my pc.
All my media files are on a separate internal HD as drive D, so nothing changed there, they are all Shared. I’ve been trying to work this out, but can’t seem to get anywhere. A reboot of my router and Live Plus are just a daily routine if I want to view any files.
