There is no media in the current folder

ok here is my setup.

i have the wdtv live hub in living room with 2 2TB hard drives

wdtv live plus in kids bedroom with 1 2TB hard drive

both are on the same network ofcourse and every thing is set up correctly

now for the most part everything works just fine, but i get this There is no media in the current folder

when i try to access the live plus hard drive. i’ll pull it up on the shared access and see the folder i try

to open it and its says There is no media in the current folder i can try anything but i won’t get passed that

unless i do a hard reset and boy my hub takes a long time to get going.

can anyone shed some light on my issue. live  plus would still but playing a movie while i try to access it and it

tells me this. untill i do hard reset it will not work.

after the hard reset everything works fine untill this happens again and i have to do this process all over please help.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

Regards,

You have not shared the folder correctly, you might have placed it in a location which needs admin privileges. Try putting the file in My Documents and then reshare the file.
