Control over Lan

Hi, new here and looking for new media player I seek advice please.

I need a device which I can control over the lan either using Kinsky from laptop or Bubble upnp from android pad.

Please could somebody confirm the WD TV Live plus is upnp compliant and can be controlled in this way.

Well, it meets the terms of a DMP under the DLNA certification.

I have no idea what Kinsky or Bubble are, so I can’t comment on that…
