Recently I had issues finding my network share from the WDTV and a search on here revealed that disabling Link Scanner in AVG would solve the problem and it did.
Since then however I’ve had the share disappear on me a couple of times and it was only by killing off AVG on the PC that I was able to get everything working again.
Evidently AVG sometimes blocks the WDTV from seeing the PC - if anyone could shed any light on how to make this stop happening it would be much appreciated.

Come to think of it…Last week I replaced my original 80GB HDD with a new 160GB HDD…
Since restoring all my data I installed the newest free AVG 2011 on my computer and have also had problems accessing my network shares…
My music and video files are being listed under “media server” not network drives as previously before upgrading my PC…
I’ll try turning off Linkscanner…Thanks!
