I bought wd tv live for projection. Media player is working on samsung tv but didn work on nec and optoma projection.
so isnt media player compatible with projections? What can I do?

How is your OLD WDTV Live connected … Composite / Component / HDMI ?
If HDMI … reconnect to the Samsung TV and select Video Output > HDMI > Auto
then reconnect to the projector (make sure the projectoer is switched OFF when connecting the HDMI cable)
