WDTV Live and My Cloud DLNA question

Hi all,

I already have WDTV Live box (not hub), i cannot connect this to my Sony Bravia TV as the TV wants the DLNA to originate via an acting server (PC/Laptop etc), if i purchase the “My Cloud” and connect this to “Live Box” will my TV then see the files/video’s ETC

I’m no techy, but from reading up, the DLNA server seems to be the missing piece, I maybe wrong.

Any help would be massively appreciated, cheers

The My Cloud comes with a media server that is supported by most DLNA compliant devices.

However, you should be able to connect the WD TV Live directly to the TV as well.
