When I connect my WD MY book up to WD TV Live, both units seem to work initially. Then the menu on the WD TV Live freezes. If I turn the unit on without being hooked up to the hard drive it seems to work fine. I plugged the hard drive into my computer and scanned the drive and tried to recover any bad sectors, none were found. I have updated the firmware to the latest version.
Appreciate any help.
Try connecting another hard drive or memory and check if the problem continues, if the problem stops you might have a data corruption problem in the other hard drive. Try to backup the information and then format it to fix that problem.
