WD TV Live Box won't Start

My WD TV Live box has been acting strangely lately - when I go to start it up I get a black screen and my TV says ‘No Signal’ (I’m connecting it via HDMI) and I have to unplug the unit a few times before it finally boots up. I’ve kept up with firmware updates (I just loaded the latest last week) but that’s made no difference to this behaviour.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Try resetting the player. You are probably having a problem with HDMI handshaking.

How do I reset the box?

Found the manual online. Did a reset via the hole in the bottom of the device and it now seems to start up properly.
