I have a couple of WD 3tb drives connected to my WD Live and they work very well, I have purchased a couple of Seagate 4tb drives but they do not seem to be working with my WD Live, they do not “show” and I just wanted to know if they were compatible or if they are any other make of 4tb external drive can be used on my WD Live (I have 2 players - one is the black wd live and the other one isslightly older, which is grey) its just that I wanted some space as I am running short and thought it would be better to upgrade to 4tbs, thanks for any replies
That media player can’t even properly handle a 3TB drive, so 4TB is not an option.The Live is showing its age.
