Unable to move files around on USB drive from my computer

Greetings,

I am unable to move files around on USB drive from my computer. I can copy files and paste files, but I can not move them in and out of folders to organize them.

Is there a way to do this?

If not, please fix it so you can.

What exactly are you trying to do and where does the WD player come into it.

Is the drive connected to the player?

Can you see the drive from your computer?

Yes, it is connected to the player. Yes, I can see the drive.

I can not moves files to a different location on the drive. I can not drag a file on the drive into or out of a folder on the drive. I can not rearrange them.

What operating system are you using and how are you connecting to the USB drive from your computer?

Also what WD player do you have, model number?

What happens when you try?  Are you getting errors?
