Problem to upgrade the firmware WD HD TV

I’m download the latest version of the firmware 1.05 and something.  I copy the 3 files into USB and I connect the USB into my WD HD TV, and then I look at setting to see if the firmware upgrade icon appears and never appears.

Please somebody has the same problems.

You need to be more specific.

Exactly what Model number is your device?

Chances are you got the wrong firmware, and your model number will help us determine that.

Do you have a Live or Live Plus? If not there is no new firmware.

Post the Model Number.

I’dont know if sufficient to you or I need to found in other place in the equipment.

You can’t use 1.05 firmware on that box. That firmware is for the WDTV Live or Live+, not the “WDTV HD (Generation 2)”  Your firmware is here:

I don´t see some files in wmv.

I’m very new in this, what are you recommend me, Right now warranty is active.

Change equipment or by new one.
