Should have pasted better than that ?

I can’t see anything that would create audio issues (but it is hard to read)

One thing I do see is for the video - High@L4.2… I don’t think thats supported ?

  • MPEG2 MP@HL up to 1920x1080p24, 1920x1080i30 or 1280x720p60 resolution.
  • MPEG4.2 ASP@L5 up to 1280x720p30 resolution and no support for global motion compensation.
  • WMV9/VC-1 MP@HL up to 1280x720p60 or 1920x1080p24 resolution. VC-1 AP@L3 up to 1920x1080i30, 1920x1080p24 or 1280x720p60 resolution.
  • H.264 BP@L3 up to 720x480p30 or 720x576p25 resolution.
  • H.264 MP@L4.1 and HP@4.1 up to 1920x1080p24, 1920x1080i30, or 1280x720p60 resolution.

Just tried a sample I found here, and it looks like its the same specs, and it played all right on my WD Live Hub.

If you look at my previous post, download the sample and see if it plays, it worked fine on mine ?

But is it an old Live you have, or is it the newer Live Streaming Player ?

#9 and #10 file works fine but those are only few seconds file and mine also works fine for few seconds…

I uploaded mine #15. Can you try that? Audio stops after few seconds whwn I play mine.

Thanks for helping me out.

This is 3rd gen new player just bought yesterday. I also uploaded latest FW on it.

Thanks again

That file type isn’t supported.

Frame rate is 60p.   1920x1080 supports max of 24p:

  • H.264 MP@L4.1 and HP@4.1 up to 1920x1080p24, 1920x1080i30, or 1280x720p60 resolution.

Any media player that can play 1920X1080 60p m2ts file?

So is it a buffer thing that it plays the complete video and drops out sound after 5 seconds? I’ve just tried the file and it’s really weird.

That would be my guess.

Audio is usually the first thing to go when the WDTV loses “sync” within a stream.
