No signal after boot screen

I turn on the box and after the boot screen and before entering the main menu (approximately 15 seconds after turn on) it stays on but loses signal and i get black screen on the TV.

The item is refurbished. Purchased from Amazon.com through “The Edeals”. on the 29th of March 2013.

The item never worked. This happened on the first use.

Tried with Component and HDMI, the same result.

Have nothing else connected.

Unplugged it from power cord and tried again after 24 hours, same result.

Reset button is unresponsive. (both in single tap and 10+seconds)

Any ideas?

I’ve tried everything i could find around the internet but nothing worked. 

My problem is that i bought the product in the US and now i am in Greece, so returning it might be difficult.

Have you waited a period of time to see what if anything happens.

What model do you have.

Did you try the composite output with the correct WD AV lead.

Does the LED on the front light up.
