No audio (no signal) after upgrading to last firmware!

Just updated my WDTV Live to newest version.
After I did this, I get the “No signal” on my receiver!!
I get picture but no sound.

Tried changing audio from digital to stereo and back to digital. Tested with other HDMI cables but with no luck!

What can I do to fix this?

Fixed it by doing a rollback as discribed here:

I assume you did try the complete re-set method on that page before you rolled back?

Hmm…actually, no I didn’t

But the most important part for me is that is working.

And hopefulle support for DTS MA and Dolby True HD one day :wink:

I am actually not sure whats new with the new firmware.
Any important fixes/functions??

But from what I can read from that thread is a lot of people struggeling after upgrading.

As I mentioned earlier I have no problems with mine except that I want support for Dolby True HD and DTS HD

Just keep in mind that most people DON’T have issues.   Very seldom will someone with NO problem come to a forum, register, and say “No problem!”   That’s just the nature of forums.   Be cautious, yes, but don’t let other people’s experiences discourage you…

BUT, if you have NO issues with 1.02.21, then I agree with you; don’t upgrade!  :)

Hello again.

I had to try this again. Reset to default, upgraded to new version. Same result, no signal message and no audio.

Tried the resetting method but it did not help.

Still no audio.

Rolledback again and it works on old version.
Too bad… I really like to run newest versions on all my gadgets
