No WD TV yet

Hey

I don’t have a WD TV yet, but im thinking about getting one. The only problem is i have a old tv with scart and composite input, will i get a normal DVD quality with composite to compositte?

You will get the same quality as a DVD player plugged in using Composite.  :)

Yes. Assuming your input video is dvd resolution/quality. If you’re looking for the full dvd experience, I would suggest getting the WD TV Live Plus, which supports dvd menus. I use DVD Decrypter to rip my movies into .ISO format. From there I can access the whole dvd from my WD TV Live Plus. It’s AmAzInG

You can do DVDs on the live, too, with the beta code, that will be the normal code soon…

I mean i have a dvd mashine, that is hooked up with scart so is this the same quality as if i hook the WD TV with composite?

Yes. The scart lead is probably already giving you composite.

Ok, im buying a WD TV then,

But the difference between WD TV and WD TV live, is it only the network or what?
