Is it possible to download content from a home DVR?

Hello everyone

I got my WD 1T live hub about three weeks ago and I love it.  I was wondering if I could download content stored in my Uverse DVR on to the WD via the USB port?  I have a few things saved on it that I would like to stream.  I could record it with my DVR recorder then upload it but that is time consuming.  There is a USB port on the Uverse box.  Is this possible?

No. Both devices are host ports. They cannot be connected to each other via USB.

It's also likely that your DVR is storing recordings in a proprietary format which would you require you to remux them with ProjectX or MKVToolnix.

Thanks everyone.  I didn't think so.  I will just record it to a DVD and then upload it to the box.
