Help! WDTV Live cannot detect 2 x usb hdd

My old wdtv detect both “usb1” and “usb2” when 2 x hdd are connected to it. My brand new WDTV Live does not. It only detects one hdd, and it does not say “usb1” It´s just the symbol with no text. I think there is something with the adjustment - it has two usb inputs, after all. They cannot be there just to look nice, they need to have a function.

Hello,

Both USB on the WDTV are functional and should recognize both hard drives when they are both connected.

Try resetting the media player using the reset button on the bottom and also make sure it has the latest firmware installed.

Also what are the capacities on this external drives?
