I have noticed playing back some files I ripped from a DVD its not showing DTS 96/24 on my receiver, just standard DTS. Is the WDTV Live unable to bitstream DTS 96/24 over HDMI for some reason?
UPDATE
Scratch that, it seems at some point Automatic Phase Matching got enabled on the receiver which disables Dolby/DTS above 48Khz. From what I can gather I would lose more from turning APM off than I would gain from 96/24 decoding, so I think I will live without it.
Haven’t heard of the " Automatic Phase Matching" feature before. :dizzy_face:
