Congratulations! Since the last update the whole thing is down. How do we go back to the previous version? What’s wrong with the new version???

Agreed.  This new “update” messed my whole system up.  Not to mention I can’t map the hard drive on the network anymore.  Also turns on whenever it seems to feel like it.

And the roll back doesn’t seem to want to work no matter how many times I try.

If I wanted a simple media player with no network functionallity I could have saved myself some money.

I sure hope they come out with a fix for this disasterous “update” soon.

If you download the firmware from the link I posted above and follow the instructions then you should be able to easily downgrade your unit. Make sure that get the correct firmware for your unit and unzip to the root of a USB flash drive.

Ask for more help if you still can’t downgrade. Give full details of your WDTV.
