Audio stops when watching a 1920x1080 50p file

Ive just got a Sony  and when recording HD on the highest setting 1920x1080 50p (MTS AVCHD) the sound cuts off after 50 seconds during playback on my WDTV Live, anyone else got the same problem?

It plays fine when i’m recording on 50i just not on 50p.

Anyone?

Thought the new firmware  upgrade today may have fixed it but the problem is still there.

Is there anywhere where i can report the problem to WD?

Yeah, through Tech Support…

But it’s doubtful it will get fixed.   Prevailing thought is that, at best, there may be one more FW update before the product goes unsupported…

It is a Hardware fault get a replacement I had the same problem as it is sometime that never happened before it is most likely to be a faulty component in the device I replaced my device taking it back to the retail store I purchased it from and they replaced it with the same new in the box model and I have had perfect viewing so far but I can not stress the importance of keeping a record of proff of the replacement as I still have concerns that it may happen again as time seems to be a factor in this fault from showing its ugly head.

But my fingers are crossed that it is only a small percent of units have the fault and it will not happen again.

And bleep the new one has just started failing agian in only two days
