AIFF format / loud white noise at end of track

Hi… I have several albums in AIFF format which play on my WD LIVE but each track ends with approximately 5-10 seconds of  loud white noise, before continuing on to the next track. AIFF file format is:

16-bit Integer (Big Endian), Stereo, 44.100 kHz / data rate=1409.76 kbit/s

Any ideas?

Convert to FLAC as a workaround till WD fixes this bug.
