I have had the WDTV Live Hub for two weeks and immediately became interested in the user created themes, mainly for the extra information these themes can provide. Tinwarble’s Darklight was my favorite. Unfortunately most themes are broken, with the newer firmwares.
After spending hours reading posts on this forum and trying different ideas, I settled on the following:
Firmware: 3.07.14
Theme: Anodized (built in)
Built in Scrapper: OFF
Then I use thumbgen and thumbgen designer to create the metadata, movie thumbnail, and a background jpg with embedded Imdb rating etc.
Firmware version 3.08.14 broke my setup by not displaying the background image anymore.
Already rolled back the firmware. :smiley:
