Hi - I have just set up my Live Hub and I want it to be able to play/access media files that are currently on my PC hard drive. The PC can see the Live Hub and I can transfer files across from the PC to the Live Hub but at the moment when I go to change the content source to Media Server all I get is a message saying content source has been removed. I have tried Network Share, but I am asked for a user name and password. My files on the PC are not password protected - using anonymous and a blank password give me an error message.

You need to make sure password protected sharing is DISABLED, then.
Also, make sure your files are shared with the specific user named "Everyone."

If you don't have your PC password protected and you have all your setting set correctly on your PC for sharing, but you still can't get it to work, you can try this registry edit.
1. On the right side Double Click on everyoneincludesanonymous and in the window that pops up, change the value data from a 0 value to a 1
2. Double Click on NoLmHash and in the window that pops up, change the Value Data from a 1 value to a 0
3. Now navigate to the following location in the registry editor
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic
Double Click on restrictnullsessaccess and change the 1 value to a 0
Reboot your PC.

Hi,
I am also using windows vista in my laptop. I tried the solution provided. It is not working as expected.
When I select the Media Server or Network **bleep** shows no storage device.
Please advice.
