WD Live access files on a Linux Box

I am looking at buying a WD live, but is it able to access files on a linux box, I use ubuntu. Are their any How-to’s??

The Live Hub can do this in two ways.

  1. When you opt to connect to a network share, you can choose “linux Shares” and attach to an NFS Share point. 

  2. Run a DLNA server on your Ubuntu box (plex, miniDLNA etc) and connect to it as a Media Server.

Or install Samba on your Ubuntu box and it’ll work as “Windows Shares,” too.
