Just wondering if support is planned for these two file extensions in future firmware updates…I have a large collection of .dts files and it would be nice if I can load them onto the WD Live TV Hub for 5.1 playback…
This has been begged for by the community and WD has already said multiple times, its not going to happen. Its not a hardware limitation but a licensing thing. The unit can already play DTS HD soundtracks but it only outputs the DTS core.
I had to purchase a different brand of streamer that allowed DTS HD pass through.
