This question has been asked before, but never really answered. I want my Hub to automatically sync with my external usb drive. In otherwords, store media on the internal, and have the usb back it up. The first time i did this, it worked fine. I have since added media to the usb drive, yet it doesn’t seem to automatically sync, no matter what i do. If I remove and then replug in the drive, it asks me if I want to sync, but isn’t it supposed to do it automatically? When idle or turned off? I believeit does with network sync
The media does not auto-sync.
The external USB drive gives you that option when the drive is connected only at the moment.

It looks like it auto syncs with network. Strange it doesn’t with USB
