Start of song cut off

Hi everone,

I just got a new WD TV Hub which is great except its cutting of the start of the songs. Not every time but about half the time but its very annoying.

Is there any settings i can adjust(pre-buffering?) to fix this or can it be fixed in the next firmware update.

The tracks are mp3 files BTW and im using the latest current firmware, 2.06.10.

I’m guessing you’re using HDMI or OPTICAL.   It’s your receiver that’s cutting off the sound, as it’s trying to sync to the digital signal.

There is no cut-off if using the analog outputs…

Yeah, HDMI.

I used to get the same thing using the HDMI port on an AMD video card until they fixed it in their drivers.

Hoping WD can do the same.

I don’t know if it’s a WD fix. I have the same problem with all the peripherals on my home theater-Blu-ray player, cable box, Playstation, Live Hub, all going through my Harmon Kardon Receiver. Annoying, yes, but except for the music, its not noticeable.
