Daylight Savings

I’m not sure how the WD Live is supposed to be setup for daylight savings but originally I configured my hub for daylight savings and my time was correct. After the time change in California, I noticed that my time was off by an hour. In order to correct the time, I had to turn daylight savings off. Is this a bug? Anyone else notice this?

Same experience here.

Upon getting the unit, to get the correct time I had to enable DST.

But it hasn’t auto-adjusted since the weekend and you need to disable DST to get the correct time.

Any way you look at it, it’s broken.

I think you will find that the hub only does UTC time and you have to manually tell it about daylight savings by ticking the box. In other words that box simply adds an hour to the UTC time and there is no automatic change at a given date.

Right;  It’s not AUTO switching; it’s manual (which is pretty crappy, since the thing is based on Ubuntu Linux, and the tzdata package IS included in its build, the capability is resident…  Programmer just needs to make it happen.
