WD TV Generation 1 Component

Been watching my movies for about 2 years. Everything worked great. Last week the video of the movies started pausing while the audio continued on. Almost like it was buffering. Tried different hard drives and still happens. Reinstalled updated Firmware and still happens. Any ideas or similar issues.

Yes I did the reset and installed the updated firmware, still encountering the problem,
