In the Netherlands a lot of people use Uitzending Gemist, which is the ability to watch back TV shows that aired on the 3 Dutch public broadcasting channels (Nederland 1, 2 and 3). They have an API here.

Please build in support for this.

The days for proprietary APIs are over in Europe.  Also for the NOS catchup service.

The European Broadcast Union (EBU) has now adopted the HbbTV standard which is taking the world by storm.   This standard is provider independent and makes it possible to access all these different 'catchup' services from a single smart television platform.

Go HbbTV young man!   http://www.hbbtv.org

I had contact with WD about this idea.

My conclusion is that this feature will never be added to this device.

Just a shame.

They won't say yes, they won't say no.

That's a no definitely.
