I just got a WD TV and was trying to play some MKV files. The video works fine but I’m not getting any audio. I’ve upgrade the firmware to 1.03 but it didn’t help. Is there any other way I can update the audio codec support?

You are asking the wrong community, this for the WDTV LIve only. I Believe you should be asking here:
Most likely your files contain DTS audio. You can use the tool MediaInfo to find out.
If that’s the case, you either have to connect your WD TV to a DTS decoder via optical cable or re-encode the audio on your files.
Why would a firmware upgrade remove services that were previously supported, and then not include that information in the Release Notes? Wow.
