Major problem with MyBook 250GB HDD

Hello. The WD TV HD does not cooperate well with my WD MyBook 250GB. When we initially connect the HD, the TV HD scans and creates the media list. Then, when we turn off the TV HD, the HDD first goes in stand by (and the light still is open in the button) and after sometime (3 minutes) it goes completely off. After this happens, when we turn on the TV HD again, it needs again much time to read the disk, making the use of the device practically very difficult and inefficient.

I have tested this in TV HD first generation and the HDD just went to stand by mode with the light continuously open. When I turned on TV HD first generation, it did not need any time to read the disk.

So it must be something that can be easily solved.

Please fix this with first priority!

Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in our Ideas Lab. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn't another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.
