have been using WD SmartWare on this computer for a few years. Current disk is starting to fail. Need to perform a complete Windows 7 backup. Can I do this on this drive, without corrupting the WD Smartware based backups? If so, is there anything special that I need to do?
Hello JKArl, you can use the same drive to make backups from different programs, just be sure to now select the Smartware backup folder (smartware.swstor) as the destination for the other backup.
