Hi

I have just received my code for the free upgrade to the pro version which came with my device.When i try to activate it it says error whilst trying to validate your activation code ,try again later? ive tried it with the device connected and disconnected but no joy! anyone have any ideas?

WD Smartware Pro cannot be activated or purchased while a My Passport Ultra is connected to the system

Thanks for the reply i had already tried this but to no avail,when i started up my pc today i had an update and it has now installed correctly :smiley: must have been something going on with the WD site? its working now anyway.
