WD Smartware - Very Slow and hangs

I have just purchased WD MyCloud.  I downloaded the WD Smartware software to backup my PC.

However, everytime i launch WD Smartware, it takes very long to start. Secondly, it is very very very slow in responce everytime i click on the tabs selection. Eventually, the smartware will hangs.

I have uninstall and reinstall a few times, but the same happen.

Hopefully someone can help.

The software performance will depend on computer performance and how many applications you have running simultaneously.
