I found that after installing the latest version of Smartware 2.4.6 that my proccessor frequency was pegging to 100% (AMD FX-8350) and then getting so hot that the CPU fan was running at max speed trying to cool it. I was able to identify this by running resource monitor and watching as I enabled and disabled smartware backup. I had a saved the installation file from Smartware V2.4.2 and was able to go back (I don’t use Dropbox). Any idea what is going on?

Was this happening while the Smartware was running a backup or anytime?
