I am running updated WD SmartWare on a PC with Windows XP and backing up to a MyPassport Essential. I found that only the username I am currently running is backed up. How can I back up all the data in all the usernames on the computer? Do I have to log into each one and run it? That negates the convenience factor, as some of my daily downloads, like music, go into a folder in a different username that I rarely actually log into. I couldn’t find anything in the settings tab to instruct the software to back up all the data in the computer.
Since there’s been no replies, maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
