Smartware and 2 drives

I have a win7 laptop and use a 1TB mybook with Smartware ver 2.1.1 to backup my data files and windows image backup for a full image backup. I’m running out of space so I bought another mybook 3TB and I want to install and use both drives. Is the software that comes with the 3TB drive a later version or different version than my existing ver. 2.1.1 and should I uninstall ver 2.2.1 and install the version that’s on the 3TB drive?

Hi, the latest Smartware version is 2.2.1, you can update it to the latest version without uninstalling the old version and you can use Smartware with both of your drives.
