Bought smartware pro to backup to my Dropbox account. The automatic activation did not work “There was an error activating … please try again later” Same message after physically entering the activation code. Problem has persisted over 3 days, so it isn’t temporary. Can anyone help? And does anyone have contact details for a WD complaints/refund department? Thanks
Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this either by phone or email. I’m sure they’ll investigate why the application is not activating for you.
