No install of New version of Acronis TI WD version

Dear all,

Current I’m using version 14.184 of Acronis TI WD edition, on a windows 7 home 64 bits OS.

On the support download page there is a new version available, version 16.0.0.5926.

After download i run the exe file, and after a unpacking i get an popup screen that says that there is no WD device found?.

It refuses to recognize my internal 2 Tb WD caviar_Green sata disk. - type number of the disk: WD20EARX-00P.

Please advise what to do?.

I didn’t uninstall the current version and there are 2 processes related to Acronis active.

Have you tried restarting the computer and running the update again?

If that does not work see if uninstalling the previous version helps.

Restart and uninstall, twice restart after uninstalling the old version didn’t help.

Manual removed leftovers in registry and in “appdata” folder, still no go ?.

Any other clues?, solutions to make this work?
