DLGDIAG unable to read SMART values via USB

DLGDIAG 1.25.0 is unable to properly read any SMART values for disk which are connected via USB.  Example below compared to another tool which can.

System:

Windows 7 x64 SP1

Asus P8Z77-V

Thermaltake BlacX 5G HDD Docking Station via USB 3.0

Hi, I recommend you to contact Thermaltake support.

What exactly would I report to thermaltake?   WDC disk diagnostic tool cannot read smart values but another tool can.  So clearly it’s then not a problem with the USB enclosure but the software…

WD doesn’t support external enclosures. If the parameters are correct when testing the drive directly connected to the Motherboard then I do not personally believe there’s much left to do since WinDLG would be working as intended by WD.
