I have just received a My Passport Ultra 1tb external hard drive and was looking to use the free cloud backup that is included but I have no clue how to set it up.
No installation or registration prompts appeared for me when first setting up the device, and any smartware downloads I have found I have to pay for.
Can someone please suggest how I go about setting up the free cloud smartware

Hello,
In order to use the Dropbox backup option you need to install WD Smartware Pro. This version of Smartware is only for Windows.
The Mac version of Smartware does not have the Dropbox backup option.
