Changed router and can't get Smartware to work

I’ve recently changed my router and can’t seem to complete installing WD Smartware Pro 2.4.2.26 

After installing, this screen appears, I click on the WD My Cloud icon and it just hangs:

If i were to try opening Smartware from Quick View, the below screen will appear, after which it will hang again when I click on the WD My Cloud drive icon.

I have followed the instructions on the WD website, ie. download software, install and run Smartware installer, reboot, run Smartware installer again…etc.

Before I changed routers, I have successfully installed and run Smartware Pro.  When I changed routers, I uninstalled and reintalled all WD software on my laptop.  For the second installation, it didn’t ask me to login, key in the activation code again, etc. I have a MyCloud 2TB and running on Windows 8.1.  

I’ve also searched the forums and googled, but couldn’t find anything related.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
