Cant back up new internal hard drive

I just added a new larger internal Hard drive to my PC.  It seems to be working fine but when I select it to be backed up by the MY Book smartware it says ready to back up but it never gets backed up.  If I schedule a back up and hit back up now I get the message… The RPC server is unavailable (exception from HRESULT: 0 x 800706BA)

All the files stay yellow colored but I get no other message as what to do next.   Thanks

Try uninstalling Smartware and then do a clean installation for the latest version (2.41).

Did you ever solve the RPC server unavailable problem? I’ve just installed a new drive and have eactly the same error message.
