I did the proceedure on page 74 and it did NOT fix the BLANK DRIVE issue.
I let the WD True Image software initialize the blank drive and it said OK,
BUT when I tried to use the drive the program said that this drive CT960M500SSD1 - not supported.
No other software that I had tried with this drive gave any errors or issues with it.
So the issue is with the limitation of the older WD True Image software.
The new version works fine with this drive, BUT I don’t like the appearance and overall operation.
I am sticking with the OLD version and they can keep the New Version. I DON’T LIKE IT! SORRY!
Another problem with the new version, Is with the older WD True Image I could double-click on the .tib files and I could open the backup and look at anything I wanted, even copy files, extract them, etc…
But the New Version wants me to link an application to the .tib file and I don’t know what to link it to so I can’t use it.
That **bleep**. I have tried to remove it and re-install a number of times, but it still won’t open the .tib file.
Which is a FAR bigger issue than the older version not supporting one particular HD model.
