Sharespace FTP, cannot get private mode to work.

Hi all.

The topic seems to be closed - so im posting a new one. 

The FTP is working, when im using anymous access.

I've configured a specific port: 8001.

However. 

When i'm trying to use ANY of my users, i get a 530 Login incorrect-error. 

Why is that?

What am i missing?

The full log is: 

[R] Connected to wd-sharespace
[R] 220 vsFTPd 2.0.4+ (ext.3) ready...
[R] USER userFTP
[R] 331 Please specify the password.
[R] PASS (hidden)
[R] 530 Login incorrect.
[R] Connection failed

I am 100% sure that my credentials are typed correctly.

The Username and password are in the correct casing.

I got it working. 

Weirdly enough it did seem to have something to do with the length of the password. 

Is there really a maximum length on the passes?

I read some place I don't remember there was a 48 characters limit

but I'm not sure
